Complete Worm Trojan Virus Removal
Issue: Worm / Virus / Trojan on PC

Fix: ***NOTE*** - seriously infected systems may NOT reboot / start after cleaning if Operating System files are infected; back up ALL important data / pictures / music / financial files off of the PC before attempting!

Fix: ***NOTE*** - seriously infected systems may NOT reboot / start after cleaning if Operating System files are infected; back up ALL important data / pictures / music / financial files off of the PC before attempting!
Do an online scan in safe mode. To do this:
¨ Shut down the computer; then restart by hitting the power button.
¨ Right after you hit the power button, start taping the F8 key, very fast, until it takes you to the SAFE MODE screen
¨ Use the up/down arrow keys to choose “SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING”, then push the ENTER key
¨ Click YES to continue in SAFE MODE
¨ Open Internet Explorer
¨ Go to Google.com
¨ Search for “bitdefender online scan”
¨ Click the top search result
¨ Follow the instructions on the site; this will do an online scan of the computer, which does from time to time find things that your onboard anti virus program may miss.
¨ Once complete, reboot the computer normally
If the PC is still infected, download, install and run the following programs in SAFE MODE:
-Smitfraud: http://siri.geekstogo.com/SmitfraudFix.php
Do option 2, CLEAN
-Smitfraud: http://siri.geekstogo.com/
-MalwareBytes: http://www.malwarebytes.org/
-Vundo Fix: http://vundofix.atribune.org/
-CC Cleaner: http://www.ccleaner.com/
-Adaware 2008 http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-2008/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5&cdlPid=10844457
Adaware 2008 may not install in SM (Safe Mode); if it doesn't,
install in normal mode, then reboot into SM to run program
Again, it is important that these programs are run in SAFE MODE
with NETWORKING to ensure thier success.
